This new build was a blank slate.
I designed a sensory garden that is wheelchair accessible for this family home. The garden features a covered pergola seating area, a raised bed, and decking.
The garden is level to enable a wheelchair to easily manoeuvre to all areas and is simple to maintain with a planting scheme that is tactile and visually appealing. The garden is also dog friendly!
This client wanted to turn a previously unloved area of their garden into a zen space.
The area is visible from the living room window so needed to be visually appealing throughout the seasons and has a become a special area of reflection for the family.
This client had a small garden plot and wanted to add depth to the space.
By creating angled beds the standard rectangular plot took on a more visually appealing shape.
The planting scheme included trees that then blurred the boundaries of the garden and created much needed privacy.
This is an image taken after the garden gained maturity.
